This creamy Southwest Ranch Dressing has a little heat, a little tang, and comes together in minutes. Made with ranch seasoning, mayo, milk, and hot sauce, it’s perfect for drizzling on BBQ pulled pork pizza, tacos, salads, or using as a dip for fries and veggies.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch seasoning mix
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste; we prefer Mike’s Red Hot)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor.
  2. Process until smooth and well blended.
  3. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate.
  4. Chill for at least 1–2 hours before serving; overnight is best for full flavor.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • For best quality, use within 3–4 days.
  • Can be safely stored for up to 5 days if kept cold and handled properly.
  • Flavor improves after chilling; overnight is ideal.

Optional shelf-life tips:

  • Substitute buttermilk for the milk to help the dressing stay fresh slightly longer.

  • For a thicker, more stable sauce, reduce the milk to ⅓ cup.

Discard if the dressing develops an off smell, unusual separation that won’t remix, or any discoloration.
