This Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing is creamy, tangy, and packed with classic ranch flavor using simple ingredients. Made with Greek yogurt for a lighter option, it’s perfect for salads, dipping veggies, wraps, and more.

Ingredients

  • 1 TBSP dried parsley
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¾ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 TBSP fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • ⅓ cup buttermilk (more as needed for thinning)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the dried parsley, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper with the Greek yogurt until fully combined.
  2. Stir in the fresh chives.
  3. Slowly whisk in the buttermilk until the dressing reaches your desired consistency.
  4. Add the Dijon mustard and lemon juice, stirring until smooth and well incorporated.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to develop.

Notes

Add additional buttermilk 1 TBSP at a time to thin the dressing as needed.

If you don’t have buttermilk on hand, see my Easy Buttermilk Recipe – it’s easier than you think!

For a more classic ranch flavor, add ½ tsp garlic salt or a pinch of ranch seasoning.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Dressing will thicken slightly as it chills—stir before serving.
