This creamy copycat Chick-fil-A sauce is sweet, smoky, and tangy—perfect for dipping waffle fries, nuggets, or spreading on chicken sandwiches. Mix it in minutes, then chill for the most authentic flavor.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 tsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tsp barbecue sauce (I recommend a hickory flavor)
  • 2 TBSP honey
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, barbecue sauce, honey, garlic powder, paprika, and lemon juice until smooth and fully combined.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend.
  3. Stir before serving.

Notes

  • Hickory-style barbecue sauce gives the closest copycat flavor.
  • Refrigerating helps the sauce thicken slightly and tastes more like the original.
  • If you want it sweeter, add an extra ½ tsp honey. If you want it smokier, add an extra ½ tsp barbecue sauce.
