This BBQ pulled pork pizza is an easy, flavor-packed dinner made with tender pulled pork, melty cheese, and a drizzle of barbecue sauce and Southwest ranch. Use homemade or store-bought shortcuts to make it work for any night of the week.

Ingredients

  • 1 prepared pizza crust (I recommend our homemade pizza dough or store-bought)
  • 2 cups shredded pulled pork
  • 3 tablespoons barbecue sauce (for mixing with pork)
  • ¼ cup pizza sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or Italian blend cheese
  • 3 tablespoons barbecue sauce (for drizzling on top)
  • 3 tablespoons Southwest ranch dressing
  • ½ cup prepared macaroni and cheese (optional)
  • Optional Toppings
  • Fresh mozzarella balls, cut into pieces and dotted over the pizza
  • Red onion, jalapeños, banana peppers, or chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven according to your crust instructions.
  2. 425°F for pre-baked or partially baked crusts
  3. Follow your homemade pizza dough recipe bake times if using fresh dough
  4. In a bowl, mix shredded pulled pork with 3 tablespoons barbecue sauce until well coated. Add more sauce if desired.
  5. Place pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza pan.
  6. Spread the BBQ pulled pork evenly over the crust.
  7. If using, add spoonfuls of prepared macaroni and cheese across the pizza.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the pork and Mac mixture.
  9. Drizzle remaining 3 tablespoons barbecue sauce and3 tablespoons Southwest ranch over the top.
  10. Bake:
    – Pre-baked or par-baked crust: Bake at 425°F for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
    -Fresh dough: Bake at 425°F for 14-18 minutes, until crust is golden and cooked through.
  11. Remove from oven, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra cheesiness, add 4–6 fresh mozzarella cheese balls, cut into pieces and dotted across the pizza before baking.
  • Homemade or boxed macaroni and cheese both work great for this recipe.
  • This pizza is easy to customize — add red onion, jalapeños, banana peppers, or a sprinkle of cilantro if desired.
